Established in 1977 in Osaka's Kita Ward as the video division of Sanwa Eizai-sha, Sanwa Video Center relaunched in January 2009 as the company's post-production division. Faster, more flexible, and more customer-centric. As a comprehensive post-production facility, we will continue to provide high-end video production environments to our clients.

Non-linear Editing
The editing equipment we use includes Autodesk workstations capable of handling multi-layer compositing and complex video processing without performance issues, as well as Premiere Pro®, the industry-standard software for non-linear editing. Including a room equipped for 4K editing and another room where Flame 2 can be used for simultaneous editing, there are a total of three non-linear editing rooms. You can select the room size that best suits your specific project requirements.

MA-1 Studio
The SSL C300 console easily handles surround sound production involving a large number of audio sources. A surround speaker layout with a 2.5m radius, compliant with ITU-R recommendations, is maintained. Computer-controlled 5.1-channel monitor speakers provide an ideal monitoring environment.

MA-2 Studio
MA-2 Studio is a 2-channel stereo studio featuring a comfortable preview environment equipped with a 55-inch display and a spacious client area. It can be used for a wide range of purposes, including commercials, corporate videos, and television programs.

5.1ch Regarding the work
■ What is 5.1-channel surround sound?
This makes it possible to express things that could not be expressed with conventional L/R 2-channel stereo, such as a sense of spaciousness, immersion, movement, and powerful bass. This draws the audience deeper into the content and transforms the audio into a truly visceral experience.
■ Regarding Materials and Mixing for MA
It is not strictly necessary to use source material recorded in surround sound; a sense of immersion and movement can be created by processing stereo or monaural audio.
■ Stereo Downmix
Stereo downmixing is the process of creating 2-channel stereo by mixing the components from each speaker in a desired proportion based on a 5.1ch surround mix. Even with 5.1ch surround mixes, stereo mixes are often requested for screenings and other purposes. Our system enables the easy creation of stereo mixes.

■ About the Data
For 5.1-channel DVDs, we currently support encoding in AC-3 format only; DTS is not supported.
When producing large quantities of 5.1-channel DVDs, the authoring company may require delivery in DTRS (Digital Tape Recording System) format.
We support delivery in DTRS format; please consult our staff for details.
Currently, the standard format for 5.1ch productions is DVCPRO HD. Please consult us in advance if you require delivery in a different tape format.

■ Regarding digital data
We support various versions of ProTools session data. For information regarding plug-in compatibility, please refer to the plug-in list found in the "Equipment List" section of the Recording page. If you are bringing audio files other than Pro Tools session data, please export all files to the same address (e.g., starting at 00 minutes 00 seconds) and bring them with you.
■ Regarding analog data
You may bring in 2-inch analog 24-track/16-track and 1/4-inch analog 2-track tapes. Please contact us regarding equalization, noise reduction, machine condition, and other details.
